The Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) responded to a variety of incidents over the past 96 hours. Below is a summary of the key events, including arrests, investigations, and other notable occurrences:

• 4 arrests were made throughout the day, including individuals wanted for outstanding warrants, failure to comply, and domestic-related offenses.

Warrants – Case# CK25010232
Date: February 18, 2025, Time: 14:51 hrs., Location: Grand Avenue, West Chatham
Details:
• On February 18, 2025, at approximately 14:51 hrs., a 35-year-old female from Chatham-Kent was arrested by the Chatham-Kent Police Service. She possessed an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court stemming from a prior incident where, she was charged with mischief under $5000. She is currently being held for bail and as a result was remanded into custody at Southwest Regional Detention Centre. Her next court appearance is February 20, 2025.
Warrants – Case# CK25010249
Date: February 18, 2025, Time: 16:37 hrs., Location: McNaughton Avenue, East, Chatham
Details:
• On February 18, 2025, at approximately 16:37 hrs., a 30-year-old male from Chatham was located by the Chatham-Kent Police Service. The accused had an outstanding DNA warrant for a previous incident involving assault and uttering threats. He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters, where a DNA exam was conducted. He was further released without conditions.
IPV Assault – Case# CK25010272
Date: February 18, 2025, Time: 21:04 hrs., Location: St. Clair Street, Chatham
Details:
• On February 18, 2025, at approximately 21:04 hrs., the Chatham-Kent Police Service was called for an intimate partner violence occurrence. A 29-year-old male from Chatham was involved in a physical altercation with a 26-year-old female from Chatham, resulting in the female sustaining minor physical injury. Subsequently, the accused was arrested for two counts of assault and was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters. He was released with conditions and a future court date of March 31, 2025.
