I moved to Chatham-Kent in 1984 as a student. I studied Horticulture and Field Crops at the University of Guelph – Ridgetown Campus. I met my wife while in College and never left Chatham-Kent.
I enjoy being outside especially riding my bicycle. I have helped organize rides for Canadian Mental Health ‘Ride Don’t Hide’ as well as the Canadian Cancer Society ‘Ride for Hope’. You may see me riding in uniform as part of our new Bike Patrol Unit. On days off, I enjoy riding in Rondeau Provincial Park through the bush and out to the South Point.
I also enjoy woodworking, running, walking, I understand that it can be difficult to see past our uniforms but at the end of our shift, we go home just like everybody else, to our families.
I am proud to be a member of the Chatham-Kent Police Service and serve the people of Chatham-Kent.
