Date: November 5, 2026, 1148hrs Location: St. Clair Street, Chatham
On November 5, 2026, at approximately 1148hrs, police were dispatched to a business on St. Clair Street regarding a theft.
The male, who was known to the business, had taken an item from the store without making any attempt to pay for it. He was also on Probation at the time.
Police located the 35-year-old Chatham-Kent male and placed him under arrest for:
- Theft Under $5,000
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order (Count 1)
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order (Count 2)
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order (Count 3)
He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and released on a Form 10 with a court date of February 1, 2027.

Date: November 5, 2026, 1842hrs Location: Lorne Ave, Chatham
On November 5, 2026, at approximately 1842hrs, police located a female at a Lorne Avenue residence who was on conditions not to be out of her residence unless in the presence of her surety. The residence she was located in was not her own and she was not in the presence of her surety.
As a result, a 37-year-old Chatham female was arrested for Failure to Comply with Release Order.
She was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service’s headquarters and held for bail.
Public Intoxication – CK26082571
Date: November 5, 2026, 2240hrs Location: Chatham Street South, Blenheim
On November 5, 2026, at approximately 2240hrs, police were called after a partially clothed male was witnessed walking on Chatham Street South.
Upon arrival, officers determined that the male was unable to care for himself.
A 62-year-old Chatham-Kent male was arrested and lodged until sober. He received Provincial Offences Notices under the Liquor Licence and Control Act and the Trespass to Property Act.
