On October 8, 2026, at approximately 17:04 hrs., the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report of damage to a transport trailer.
The investigation revealed that a 62-year-old male from Harwich Township struck the side of the trailer with a metal stake several times, causing damage to its side.
As a result of the investigation, the accused was charged with the following:
- Count 1 – Mischief Under $5000
The individual was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters, where he was released with a future court date of December 30, 2026.

Date: October 8, 2026, Time: 20:07 hrs. Location: Wallaceburg
On October 8, 2026, at approximately 20:07 hrs., the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report of an assault at a residence in Wallaceburg.
Through the investigation, officers learned that a verbal argument had escalated into a physical altercation, during which a 42-year-old male from Wallaceburg had spat on a 38-year-old female victim. No injuries reported.
As a result of the investigation, the accused was charged with the following:

He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters, where he was later released with conditions and a scheduled court date of November 16, 2026.
