On September 29, 2026, at approximately 12:19 hrs, Chatham-Kent Police Service officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in Chatham.

During the investigation, officers learned that an argument had escalated into a physical altercation during which the accused, a 31-year-old male from Chatham, grabbed the victim, a 32-year-old female, around the neck. No additional medical attention was required.

As a result of the investigation, the accused was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Assault

The individual was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters, where she was later released with conditions and a court date scheduled for November 9, 2026.

Breach of Release Order – CK26072247

Date: September 29, 2026, 10:48 hrs. Location: Victoria Road, Thamesville

On May 8, 2026, the accused was released with conditions not to attend a residence located on Victoria Road, Thamesville, and not to communicate with the individuals who reside at this residence.

On September 29, 2026, at approximately 10:45 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service attended a residence in Thamesville to check compliance with a release order for a 38-year-old female from Oil Springs.

The accused was located inside the residence, contrary to a condition of the order. The individual was arrested and charged with two counts of failing to comply with a release order.

The accused was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters, where she is held pending a bail hearing.

Date: September 30, 2026, 15:32 hrs. Location: Canal Street, Tilbury

On July 5, 2026, at approximately 1:37 hrs., the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a traffic complaint in Tilbury.

Investigations revealed that an ATV had been driven across a resident’s lawn, causing ruts in the grass. Officers later located an ATV matching the description in Tilbury.

The investigation determined that the driver, a 36-year-old male from Tilbury, had a suspended licence and that the ATV was uninsured.

Officers formed reasonable grounds to charge the accused with the following:

  • Count 1: Operating while prohibited
  • Count 2: Dangerous Operation
  • Count 3: Driving while under suspension
  • Count 4: Owner operating a motor vehicle on a highway – no insurance

Subsequently, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

On September 30, 2026, at approximately 15:32 hrs, the accused was located on Canal Street, Tilbury. He was arrested on the strength of his outstanding warrant and was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters, where he was released with conditions and a future court date.
