Assault (IPV) – CK26058828
Date: August 11, 2026, 0801hrs Location: Blenheim
On August 11, 2026, at approximately 0801hrs, police responded to call for service at a residence in Blenheim.
Police were advised that a female had thrown a pot at a male, struck him in the head with her hand and threatened to kill him.
A 36-year-old Chatham-Kent female was arrested for the following offences:
- Assault With a Weapon
- Assault
- Utter Threats to Cause Death
She was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and held for bail.
Impaired Operation – CK26058996
Date: August 11, 2026, 2232hrs Location: Grand Avenue, Chatham
On August 11, 2026, at approximately 2232hrs, police were dispatched to a parking lot on Grand Avenue regarding an erratic driver.
Police attended and requested the driver provide a sample of her breath into an Approved Screening Device. After the device registered a “Fail”, the female was arrested and transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters for further testing, which revealed a Blood Alcohol Concentration over the legal limit.
As a result, a 32-year-old Wallaceburg female is facing charges for Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus).
She was released on a Form 10 with a court date of September 21, 2026.
