Assault – CK26058424
Date: August 9, 2026, 1530hrs Location: Bond Avenue, Tilbury
On August 9, 2026, at 1530hrs, police received a report of two people being assaulted by an individual on Bond Avenue.
A male pushed another male to the ground and began punching him. A female tried to intervene. The assaultive male then grabbed her by the neck.
As a result, a 24-year-old Chatham-Kent male was arrested for the following offences:
- Assault (Count 1)
- Assault Cause Bodily Harm
- Assault (Count 2)
He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and released on a Form 10 with a court date of November 5, 2026.
Impaired Operation – CK26058485
Date: August 9, 2026, 2050hrs Location: McNaughton Avenue, Wallaceburg
On August 9, 2026, at 2050hrs, police were contacted regarding a possible impaired driver on McNaughton Avenue.
Police attended and located the male in a parking lot.
The officer requested the driver provide a sample of his breath into an Approved Screening Device. After the device registered a “Fail”, the male was arrested and transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters for further testing, which revealed a Blood Alcohol Concentration over the legal limit.
As a result, a 31-year-old Wallaceburg male is facing charges for Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus).
He was released on a Form 10 with a court date of September 14, 2026.
Assault (IPV) – CK26058128
Date: August 8, 2026, 1508hrs Location: Chatham
On August 8, 2026 at 1508hrs, police were dispatched to a Chatham address regarding a disturbance.
Investigation revealed that a female had assaulted a male with scissors and a cellphone. She also told him she was going to kill him.
The male sustained minor injuries.
Police arrested a 43-year-old Chatham female for Assault With a Weapon and Uttering Threats.
She was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and released on a Form 10 with a court date of September 15, 2026.

mpaired Operation – CK26058198
Date: August 8, 2026, 2100hrs Location: McKeough Avenue, Chatham
On August 8, 2026, at 2100hrs, police were contacted regarding a possible impaired driver on McKeough Avenue.
Police located the vehicle on Grand Avenue and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The vehicle then pulled into the driveway of a residence.
Upon speaking with the driver, police formed grounds for her arrested.
She was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters where she provided samples of her breath.
A 55-year-old Chatham female is facing charges for the following offences:
- Operation While Impaired – Alcohol
- Operation While Impaired – Blood Concentration 80-plus
She was released on a Form 10 with a court date of September 22, 2026.

Date: August 7, 2026, 0521hrs Location: Dupuis Avenue, Tilbury
On August 7, 2026, at 0521hrs, police were contacted regarding a disturbance on Dupuis Avenue.
Police located an intoxicated female.
She was arrested for Being Intoxicated in a Public Place and transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters.
She was lodged until sober.
