Bail Violations – CK26055695/CK26055696

Location: Elizabeth Street, Wallaceburg, ON
On Thursday, July 30, 2026, at approximately 07:27 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to reports of a disturbance taking place in the area of Elizabeth Street in Wallaceburg.
Upon arrival, police observed two parties arguing with each other. Upon further investigation police learned that both parties have court ordered conditions prohibiting them from having contact with each other.
As a result of the investigation both parties were arrested for violating their court orders.
A 36-year-old Wallaceburg woman has been charged with:
- Failure to Comply with Release order
- Fail to Comply with Probation order
A 38-year-old Wallaceburg man has also been charged with:
- Facilitate breach of Release order
- Fail to Comply with Probation order
Both parties were transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters where they were held pending a bail hearing.
Assault – CK26055848
Date: July 30, 2026, 17:46 hrs
Location: Wallace Street, Wallaceburg, ON
On Thursday, July 30, 2026, at approximately 17:46 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to an assault incident at an residence located on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg.
Upon arrival police learned that a verbal dispute took place over property. The dispute escalated, at which point the accused struck the victim on the left side of her face.
As a result of the investigation, a 37-year-old Wallaceburg man has been arrested and charged with:
- Assault
The accused was then brought to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters where he was released on an undertaking with conditions and a future court date of September 17, 2026.
