Mischief – CK26050033
Date: July 9, 2026, 0853hrs Location: Richmond Street, Chatham
On July 9, 2026, at approximately 0853hrs, police were contacted after a property manager noted suspicious activity on remote surveillance video.
A male was banging on the door of an empty residence with a large rock.
Police attended and located the male. Further video evidence revealed he had attempted to gain entry to the rear of the residence by kicking and pushing on the door.
This resulted in approximately $500 worth of damage.
As a result, a 56-year-old Chatham-Kent male was arrested for:
- Attempt Break and Enter
- Mischief Under $5,000
He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and held for bail.

CK26050026 – Wellington Street, Chatham
At approximately 0817hrs, a 43-year-old Chatham male was arrested for Failure to Comply With Release Order. He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and held for bail.
CK26050039 – Grand Avenue West, Chatham
At approximately 0926hrs, a 42-year-old Chatham male attended the Chatham-Kent Courthouse and was arrested for Fail to Attend Court. He was held for bail.
CK26050117 – Grand Avenue West, Chatham
At approximately 1418hrs, a 37-year-old Chatham male, who was the subject of an endorsed warrant, was arrested for Utter Threats. He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and released on a Form 10 with a future court date.
CK26050232 – Dufferin Avenue, Wallaceburg
At approximately 2353hrs, police located a 33-year-old Wallaceburg female was wanted for failing to attend court. She was arrested and transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and held for bail.
