On Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at approximately 12:42 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service were called to attend a business on McNaughton Avenue in the town of Wallaceburg for a theft related call.
Through investigation, police learned that male party had entered the store and stole two bottles of alcohol.
As a result of the investigation police located and arrested a 42-year-old Wallaceburg man for:
- Theft under $5,000
The accused was released with a future court date and is scheduled to appear on July 27, 2026.

Intimate Partner Violence – CK26045887
Date: June 24, 2026, 23:39 hrs
Location: Blenheim, ON
On Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at approximately 23:39 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to an address in Blenheim for an intimate partner violence incident.
Through investigation police learned that a verbal argument took place between two individuals. The argument escalated resulting in one partner attacking the other and causing cuts to their face.
As a result, a 51-year-old Blenheim woman was arrested and charged with:
- Assault
The accused was then transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters where she was released with conditions and a future court date of August 5, 2026.
