On Thursday, June 18, 2026, at approximately 19:52 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service while on general patrol in the area of Edwy Street in Wallaceburg, observed a female party who had a confirmed active warrant with Chatham-Kent Police for theft under $5,000.
Police subsequently arrested the 29-year-old Wallaceburg woman on the strength of a warrant and was taken into custody without incident.
The 29-year-old Wallaceburg woman was then released with a future court date of September 16, 2026.
