Break and Enter – CK26043643
Date: June 16, 2026, 0826hrs Location: Birmingham Avenue, Chatham
On June 16, 2026, at approximately 0826hrs, police attended a Birmingham Avenue residence after a female entered through an unlocked back door.
She proceeded to take food from the kitchen and eat it.
The female was located by the homeowner and asked to leave the residence, which she did. Once outside, the female entered an unlocked vehicle in the driveway.
The female located food inside the vehicle and proceeded to take that, as well.
When the homeowner yelled at her to exit the vehicle, she complied but remained at the end of the driveway.
Police attended and arrested a 46-year-old Chatham-Kent female for Breaking and Entering to Commit Theft.
She was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and held for bail.

Date: June 16, 2026, 1020hrs Location: Third Street, Chatham
On June 15, 2026, at approximately 1557hrs, a female reported that her daughter had been repeatedly followed by her ex-boyfriend.
After investigating the complaint, police formed grounds for the arrest of a 19-year-old male and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On June 16, 2026 at 1020hrs, the male was arrested for Criminal Harassment.
He was released from the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters with a court date of July 27, 2026
