Driving Prohibition – CK26043087
Date: June 14, 2026, 0840hrs Location: Erieau Road, Erieau
On June 14, 2026, an officer received an Automate Licence Plate Recognition system hit off a vehicle while patrolling Erieau Road. A traffic stop was initiated.
Investigation revealed that the driver of the motor vehicle was suspended.
A 27-year-old Ridgetown male was arrested for Driving While Prohibited.
He was released on a Form 9 with a future court date and his vehicle was impounded.

Date: June 14, 2026, 2028hrs Location: Wellington Street, Chatham
On June 14, 2026, at approximately 2028hrs, an officer was reviewing CCTV footage after a report of a fence being damaged at a Wellington Street property earlier in the day.
The officer recognized the individual and formed grounds for his arrest. He was subsequently located by police.
As a result, a 42-year-old Chatham-Kent male was arrested for Mischief Under $5,000.
He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service’s headquarters and released on a Form 10 with a court date of September 14, 2026.
Public Intoxication – CK26042799
Date: June 13, 2026, 0615hrs Location: Grand Avenue West, Chatham
On June 13, 2026, at approximately 0615hrs, police located a male party passed out on Grand Avenue West.
Investigation revealed that the male was under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for himself.
As a result, a 38-year-old was issued a Provincial Offences Notice for being intoxicated in a public place.
He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and lodged until sober.
