On Thursday, June 11, 2026, at approximately 07:39 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service while on general patrol located and arrested a 62-year-old Chatham man at an address on King Street East. The man was wanted on an outstanding warrant in relation to an intimate partner violence investigation for:
- Two counts of assault
The accused was transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters and held for bail.

Date: July 11, 2026, 23:03 hrs
Location: Grand Avenue West, Chatham, ON
On Thursday, June 11, 2026, at approximately 23:03 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a disturbance to an address on Grand Avenue West in Chatham. Through investigation, police learned that an argument between intimate partners escalated, resulting in the female victim being grabbed by the arm and thrown to the ground. The victim sustained a minor injury to her knee.
As a result of the investigation, a 24-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with:
- Assault
The accused was then transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters where he was released on conditions and a future court date of July 21, 2026.
