Assault – CK26039507

Location: Paxton Drive, Chatham, ON
On Monday, June 1, 2026, at approximately 16:15 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a disturbance to an address on Paxton Drive in Chatham.
Through investigation police learned a 39-year-old Chatham woman had punched another individual after a verbal argument took place.
As a result, a 39-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and charged with:
- Assault
The accused was then transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters where they were released with conditions and future court date of August 31, 2026.

Date: June 1, 2026, 20:21 hrs
Location: Chatham, ON
On Monday, June 1, 2026, at approximately 20:21 hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to disturbance to a residence in Chatham.
Through investigation police learned that two individuals had been involved in a physical altercation. Further investigation revealed that one individual had threatened the other with a knife.
As a result of the investigation, 24-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with:
- Assault with a Weapon
- Assault
He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters and later released with conditions and future court date of July 13, 2026.
A 19-year-old Chatham woman was also arrested and charged with:
- Assault with a Weapon
- Assault
She was transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters where she was held for bail.
