Location: Morpeth, ON
On Monday, May 25, 2026, at approximately 21:58hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to an address in Morpeth for a family dispute.
Police learned the accused had earlier been apprehended under the Mental Health Act and later discharged from the hospital. Following his return home, he allegedly threatened to kill a family member.
As a result of the investigation, a 31-year-old Morpeth male was arrested for:
- Uttering threats
The accused was then transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters where he was held for bail.

Date: May 25, 2026, 22:34hrs
Location: Mull Road, Kent Bridge, ON
On Monday, May 25, 2026, at approximately 22:34hrs, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded a report of a road rage incident on Mull Road in Kent Bridge. Police located the involved vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
Through investigation, officers formed grounds to believe the driver had been operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters for further testing. A 53-year-old Chatham-Kent man was charged with:
- Operation while impaired
- Operation while impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80mg
The accused was later released with a future court date of August 12, 2026.
