Break and Enter – CK26035989

Location: Lorne Avenue, Chatham
On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at approximately 11:30hrs, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on Lorne Avenue in Chatham. Through investigation, officers learned a male suspect had allegedly entered the residence and caused damaged to a property.
Police located and arrested a 38-year-old Chatham man a short distance away without incident. He was charged with:
- Break and enter with Intent to Commit an Indictable offence
- Mischief Under $5000
The accused was transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters where he was held for bail.

Date: May 20, 2026, 14:43hrs
Location: Arthur Drive, Chatham
On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at approximately 14:43hrs, the Chatham-Kent Police responded to a report of a vehicle taken without the owner’s consent in the area of Arthur Drive in Chatham.
Through investigation, officers were able to locate the vehicle a short time later and safely take a suspect into custody without incident.
As a result, a 63-year-old Chatham woman was charged with:
- Taking a Motor Vehicle Without Consent
The accused was released with a future court date.
