Break and enter – CK26031833

Location: Grand Avenue West, Chatham
On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a break and enter at a residence in Chatham.
Through investigation, two individuals were identified in connection with the incident, one individual was taken into custody without incident, while a second individual was arrested following a brief interaction with police.
As a result, two Chatham male residents were charged with break and enter with intent.
Both accused parties were transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters.
A 41year-old Chatham male was released with a future court date of July 28, 2026.
A 34-year-old Chatham male was released with a future court date of August 10, 2026.
Intimate Partner Violence (IPV)- CK26031848

Location: Chatham
On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to an address in Chatham regarding a reported intimate partner violence incident.
Through investigation, police learned an individual was in breach of a previously imposed court-ordered conditions.
As a result, a 33-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and charged with:
- Failing to comply with probation order
- Failing to comply with an undertaking
The accused was transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
