Mischief/Trespassing – CK26028451

On April 23, 2026, at approximately 18:29 hrs., members of the Chatham‑Kent Police Service responded to multiple calls for service at a property on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg.

Police were contacted regarding a female who was repeatedly attending the property despite having been previously trespassed. Investigations revealed that the individual was banging on doors and yelling at staff and other occupants, causing ongoing disturbances.

Officers attended and attempted to have the individual leave the property peacefully. When these efforts were unsuccessful, the woman was arrested to prevent a further breach of the peace.

As a result of the investigation, the accused, a 49‑year‑old female from Wallaceburg, was charged with the following:

Count 1 – Enter premises when entry prohibited,
Count 2 – Mischief – obstructs, interrupts, or interferes with the lawful use, enjoyment, or operation of property.

The accused was transported to the Chatham‑Kent Police Service Headquarters, where she is currently held for bail.

Stunt Driving – CK26028359
Date: April 23, 2026, Time: 12:21 hrs., Location: Dufferin Avenue, Wallaceburg

On April 23, 2026, at approximately 12:21 hrs., members of the Chatham‑Kent Police Service observed a motorcycle operator stunt driving on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg, passing vehicles in an unsafe manner while travelling at approximately 120 km/h.

Further investigation through the use of CCTV footage allowed officers to identify the driver of the motorcycle as a 62‑year‑old male from Wallaceburg.

As a result of the investigation, he was located and issued a Part III summons for stunt driving.

The Chatham‑Kent Police Service would like to remind motorists to obey posted speed limits and to drive responsibly to help keep roads safe for all users.
