On April 7, 2026, at approximately 16:06 hrs. members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service Intelligence Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Northland Drive in Chatham. As a result of the search, officers located and seized the following:
-77.5 grams of fentanyl
-26 grams of cocaine
-4 grams of methamphetamine
-Cellular Phones
-Packaging Material
-Digital Scales
-Canadian Currency
The total approximate street value of the controlled substances is estimated to be $16,000.
A 32-year-old female from Chatham was located and arrested. She was charged with the following:
-Count 1 – Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
-Count 2 – Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
-Count 3 – Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
The individual was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters, where she is currently being held for bail. The Chatham-Kent Police Service continues to work proactively to disrupt the distribution of illicit drugs and enhance the safety of the community.
