The Chatham-Kent Police have cordoned off a local business at 80 Keil Drive South in Chatham for public safety reasons.
Out of an abundance of caution, the store has been evacuated and will remain closed to customers and staff. This closure is expected to last several hours.
Members of the public are advised to avoid the area until further notice to allow officers and emergency personnel to work safely.
