The Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) responded to a variety of incidents over the past 24 hours. Below is a summary of the key events.

Arrest/Bail Violations – CK25062320

Date: October 14, 2025, Time: 16:45 hrs, Location: Talbot Tl., Raleigh Twp

On October 14, 2025, at approximately 16:45 hrs, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report of threats being made by an individual at Talbot Trail, Cedar Springs.

Upon arrival, officers located the accused, a 32-year-old male from Chatham-Kent. Investigations revealed that the individual had made verbal threats to a 50-year-old victim from Raleigh Township. It was also determined that the accused is also bound by a probation order with conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

During a search of the individual, officers located a weapon. The accused is also currently prohibited from possessing firearms.

Subsequently, he was arrested and charged with the following offences:

  • Count 1 – Uttering Threats 
  • Count 2 – Fail to Comply with Probation
  • Count 3 – Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order

The individual was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters, where is he currently being held for bail.

Arrest/Bail Violations/Warrant – CK25062306/CK25062309

Date: October 14, 2025, Time: 14:45hrs, Location: Regency Dr., Chatham

On June 4, 2025, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in Chatham (CK25032247).

Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the occupant of the home after receiving reports of loud noises. Due to safety concerns, officers entered the residence to check on the wellbeing of those inside.

A 36-year-old female from Chatham was located. Further investigation revealed that she possessed an outstanding warrant for her arrest. The individual became uncooperative and assaulted two officers; however, additional medical assistance was not required.

Subsequently, the individual was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Assault a Peace Officer x 2
  • Failure to Attend Court

She was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters where, she was issued a court date of July 14, 2025. She failed to appear and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

On August 5, 2025, the accused also failed to appear in court to provide a DNA sample and an endorsed warrant was issued for her arrest (RM25002981).

On October 14, 2025, at approximately, 2:45 hrs, the Chatham-Kent Police Service officers responded to a report of an individual breaching their probationary conditions (CK25062306).

Officers attended a residence in Chatham and located the accused who was found to be in violation of a court-imposed condition not to attend within 50 metres of the stipulated residence.

Subsequently, the individual was arrested and charged with the following offence:

  • Failure to Comply with Probation Order

The accused was also arrested for her outstanding endorsed warrant.

She was then transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters, where she is currently being held for bail.
