The Chatham-Kent Police Service has launched a new online reporting tool powered by Rubicon, streamlining how residents report non-emergency crimes. Available on the website 24/7, the tool enhances community accessibility and allows officers to prioritize urgent calls while ensuring all concerns are addressed.
“We’re proud to introduce our new online reporting tool from Rubicon, offering Chatham-Kent residents a faster, more convenient way to report non-emergency crimes. Accessible 24/7, it enhances how we receive and manage reports, helping officers prioritize urgent calls while ensuring all issues are properly addressed. This is a meaningful advancement in public safety, aimed at reinforcing trust and improving service between our police and the community.” said Deputy Chief Jason Chickowski.
We’ve also added a new feature to our non-emergency phone line using Rubicon’s automated voice solution. When callers select the option to report online, the system guides them through the process and immediately sends a secure link to their mobile device to complete the report. This innovation reduces wait times, improves access, and ensures concerns are handled swiftly and thoroughly. It’s another stride in modernizing how residents engage with police when support is needed most.
