Stolen Vehicle- CK25053327
Date: September 4, 2025, Time: 11:29hrs Location: Holden St, Dresden
On September 4, 2025, at approximately 11:29 hours Chatham-Kent Police Service officers conducted a traffic stop on Holden Street in Dresden, where they recovered a stolen vehicle reported to Essex OPP. The vehicle was occupied by a man and a woman.
The 39-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000 and obstructing justice after providing a false name to the officer. He was subsequently released on a Form 10 with conditions and a future court date of October 10, 2025, before being turned over to the Ontario Provincial Police in relation to an outstanding warrant.
The 46-year-old Chatham-Kent woman was also arrested and charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000. She was released at the scene with a Form 9 and future court date.

Date: September 4, 2025, Time: 18:00hrs Location: King Street E, Chatham
On September 4, 2025, at approximately 18:00 hrs, Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision on King Street East, near William Street S, in Chatham.
Witnesses observed the male deliberately colliding with another vehicle several times. Through investigation, officers learned the individuals had recently dissolved their romantic relationship. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The 34-year-old Chatham man was located, arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, mischief, failing to remain at the scene of a collision, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. He was transported to police headquarters and later released on a Form 10 with conditions and a future court date of October 14, 2025.

Date: September 4, 2025, Time: 21:49hrs Location: McGeorge Street, Blenheim
On September 4, 2025, at approximately 21:49 hours, Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a neighbour dispute on McGeorge Street in Blenheim.
Through investigation, officers formed grounds to arrest two individuals for making threats to harm their neighbour.
The 25-year-old woman and the 23-year-old man, both from Blenheim, were arrested and charged with uttering threats. They were transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters where they were both released on a Form 10 with conditions and a future court date of October 15, 2025.
