Warrants- CK25052034
Date: August 29, 2025, Time: 19:23hrs Location: Princess Street N, Chatham
On August 29, 2025, at approximately 19:23 hours, officers on general patrol observed a male known to them to be wanted on outstanding warrants. Upon recognizing the officers, the individual fled into a residence located on Princess Street N, Chatham.
Officers pursued the suspect, who subsequently exited the residence through a window. A foot chase ensued, and officers successfully apprehended him. Given his history of failing to comply with court orders, the suspect was held for bail.
The court subsequently released him with conditions and scheduled a future court date for September 23, 2025. The 35-year-old Chatham-Kent man is currently facing multiple charges, including:
- Failing to comply with a probation order
- Trespass at night
- Possession of stolen credit card data
- Fraud
- Use of stolen credit card data
- Theft (x3)
- Possession of stolen property (x3)
Break, Enter and Theft- CK25052169
Date: August307, 2025, Time: 10:30hrs Location: Queens Line, Chatham
On August 30, 2025, at approximately 10:21 hours, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a complaint of an unauthorized person inside the fenced compound of a business on Queens Line in Chatham. Police arrived at the scene and secured all points of entry and exit to the area.
A drone was deployed, revealing a male inside the compound. After establishing a containment perimeter and attempting callouts without success, police requested K9 assistance. As the local K9 unit was unavailable, OPP K9 and ERT were called in.
At 12:39 hours the 29-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested and charged with break and enter with intent. He was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing. As a result he was remanded into custody and transported to Southwest Regional Detention Center until his next court appearance.
Break, Enter and Theft / Warrants – CK25052460 / CK25052467
Date: August 31, 2025, Time: 14:42hrs Location: Woods Street, Chatham
On August 31, 2025, at approximately 14:42 hours, officers responded to a report of a break and enter into a shed on Woods Street, Chatham. Upon arrival, officers observed a male fleeing the scene over a fence.
The 43-year-old Chatham man was located a short distance away and arrested. Following an investigation the man was issued a Provincial Offences Notice for Trespassing and arrested on the strength of an endorsed warrant for failing to attend court. He was subsequently released on a Form 9 with a future court date of September 29, 2025.
Break and Enter- CK25052564
Date: August 31, 2025, Time: 23:38 hrs Location: Woods Street, Chatham
On August 31, 2025, at approximately 22:40 hours, the Chatham-Kent Police Service received a complaint from a passer-by who reported hearing smashing sounds coming from a residence on Woods Street, Chatham. Officers arrived on scene and found the front door insecure, with glass shattered on the floor.
Responding officers established containment at the entrances of the residence. Upon entering the home, officer located a man inside.
The 60-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrest without incident. He was transported to police headquarters where he was held pending a bail hearing. As a result, he was released by the court on a Form 11, with conditions and a future court date of September 17, 2025. He faces the following charges: break and enter, and failing to comply with a release order.

Date: September 2, 2025, Time: 02:41hrs Location: McNaughton Avenue, Chatham
On September 2, 2025, at approximately 02:41 hours, Chatham-Kent Police responded to a report of an assault at an apartment on McNaughton Avenue in Chatham
Through investigation, officers learned a woman, under the influence of controlled substances, engaged in a physical altercation with her roommate. She punched him and struck him with a garden hoe, causing damage to property that was in his hands.
The 28-year-old Chatham woman was arrested for assault, assault with a weapon, mischief, and resisting arrest. She was taken to the hospital for evaluation before being transported to headquarters. She was released on a Form 10 with conditions and a future court date of October 8, 2025.
Break and Enter- CK25053004
Date: September 2, 2025, Time: 21:07hrs Location: St. Clair Street, Chatham
On September 2, 2025, at approximately 21:07 hours, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a report of a break and enter at an apartment located on St. Clair Street, near Paxton Drive, in Chatham. Officers arrived on the scene to find a woman who had allegedly broken into the unit by smashing a window with a brick.
As officers approached, the suspect was observed fleeing the scene and was subsequently arrested for break and enter. The woman appeared to be under the influence of controlled substances and transported to the hospital for an assessment.
After being assessed, the 36-year-old Chatham-Kent woman was transported to police headquarters. She was released on a Form 10 with conditions and a future court date of October 7, 2025.
