Date: August 11, 2025, Time: 14:26hrs., Location: Colborne Street, Chatham
On March 3, 2025, at approximately 5:00hrs, two individuals discovered a male inside an apartment complex on Dufferin Ave in Wallaceburg. The male appeared to be under the influence. When asked to leave, he reacted aggressively, leading to a confrontation outside where he brandished a knife and threatened the individuals, stating he would harm them.
On April 5, 2025, the man was arrested on multiple unendorsed warrants. During an inventory search at police headquarters, stolen property was found in his possession, including documents linked to a stolen vehicle. This led to additional charges for possession of stolen property.
Between April and July 2025, the man was required to attend court for various charges related to multiple investigations but failed to attend, resulting in warrants being issued.
On August 12, 2025, the 44-year-old Chatham-Kent man was located by CKPS Bail Compliance officers on Colborne Street and arrested. He was transported to police headquarters where he was held pending a bail hearing.
He is currently facing multiple charges, including:
- Two counts of Assault with a Weapon (S. 267(a) CC)
- Two counts of Uttering Threats (S. 264.1(1)(a) CC)
- Two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order
- Two counts Failing to Attend Court
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose (S. 88.1 CC)
- Possession of Stolen Property
- Failing to Comply with an Appearance Notice
- Obstructing a Peace Officer

Date: August 11, 2025, Time: 11:26hrs., Location: Murray Street, Wallaceburg
On August 10, 2025, at approximately 18:15hrs, police responded to a weapons-related incident on King Street in Wallaceburg.
The altercation began when an adult male accused confronted another adult male victim outside their residence. During the confrontation, the accused reportedly threatened the victim’s life while reaching into a backpack for what appeared to be a firearm. The victim then informed the accused he would call the police, prompting the accused to flee the scene westbound on Bruce Street.
Police established a containment area and searched for the accused but were initially unsuccessful. A warrant for his arrest was sought.
On August 12, 2025, the 33-Year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested on Murray Street in Wallaceburg. He was transported to police headquarters and is currently held for bail. He has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and uttering threats.

Date: August 11, 2025, Time: 19:06hrs., Location: McNaughton Avenue W, Chatham
On August 11, 2025, at approximately 19:06hrs, police responded to a disturbance at an address on McNaughton Avenue West in Chatham.
The woman attended the location regarding a property dispute. During the encounter, she forcibly entered the residence and, when confronted by the occupants, threatened to return with a baseball bat.
Police attended and arrested the i32-year-old Chatham woman for unlawfully entering a dwelling and uttering threats. She was subsequently transported to police headquarters, where she was processed and later released with conditions. A future court date is set for September 22, 2025.

Date: August 11, 2025, Time: 20:25hrs., Location: Northend, Chatham
On August 11th, 2025, police were called to a domestic disturbance at an address in the northend of Chatham. involving an adult female, aged 58, and an adult male, aged 59, who have been in a long-term cohabitating relationship.
The incident escalated during a verbal argument, leading to an assault. The accused contacted the police following the altercation.
Officers arrived, investigated and arrested the 58-year-old woman for assault. She was transported to police headquarters and later released with conditions and a future court date of September 22, 2025.
