Warrants/IPV – CK25040248

Date: July 10, 2025, Time: 10:15 hrs, Location: Dresden

On March 18, 2021, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a domestic violence call at a residence in Chatham involving a 29-year-old male from Dresden and a 24-year-old female from Blenheim. 

The female reported a series of abusive incidents occurring between November 2020 and March 2021. These included multiple assaults, threats and damage to property. A warrant was issued for the individual’s arrest.

On July 10, 2025, at approximately 10:15 hrs, the Chatham-Kent Police Service Bail Compliance and Warrant Aprehension Team attended an address in Dresden and arrested the individual on several outstanding warrants.

The individual is wanted in connection with multiple offences, including:

  • Count One: Assault
  • Count Two: Assault
  • Count Three: Assault Cause Bodily Harm
  • Count Four: Assault Cause Bodily Harm
  • Count Five: Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm
  • Count Six: Assault Cause Bodily Harm
  • Count Seven: Uttering Threats to Cause Bodily Harm or Death
  • Count Eight: Mischief Under $5,000
  • Count Nine: Assault

As a result of a bail hearing, he was remanded into custody at Southwest Regional Detention Centre. His next court appearance is July 14, 2025.

MVC/Impaired- CK25040316

Date: July 10, 2025, Time: 16:27 hrs, Location: Indian Creek Road & Charing Cross Road, Chatham

On July 10, 2025, at approximately 16:27 hrs, the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a single motor vehicle accident near Indian Creek Road & Charing Cross Road, Chatham.

The vehicle was observed driving on the wrong side of the roadway before leaving the road and striking a hydro pole.

Upon arrival, officers formed reasonable grounds to believe the driver, a 62-year-old male from Chatham was impaired by alcohol.

As a result, the individual was arrested and charged with:

• Operation while impaired – alcohol

The accused was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters. He was released with a scheduled future court date of July 21, 2025.
