Chatham-Kent Police Service – Daily Report for February 3, 2025

The Chatham-Kent Police Service (CKPS) responded to a variety of incidents over the past 24 hours. Below is a summary of the key events, including arrests, investigations, and other notable occurrences:

Spotlight

  • Total Call for Service: 239
  • 911/PSAP Transfers: 68
  • Reportable Calls: 44
  • Non-Reportable Calls: 195
  • Property Checks: 37
  • Community Services/Foot Patrol: 7
  • Domestics: 9

Arrests:

  • 11 arrests were made throughout the day, including individuals wanted for outstanding warrants, failure to comply, and domestic-related offenses.

Warrants – Case# CK25007057

Date: February 3, 2025, Time: 1047 hrs., Location: Moraviantown

Details:

  • On February 3, 2025, a 49-year-old woman from Dawn-Euphemia Township was located and arrested by Moraviantown Police, who possessed outstanding endorsed arrest warrants. The Chatham-Kent Police attended and took custody of the woman. She was released with a future court date of March 3, 2025. The Chatham-Kent Police Service would like to thank the Moraviantown Police Service for their assistance in this case.

Warrants – Case# CK25007085

Date: February 3, 2025, Time: 1311 hrs., Location: St. Thomas

Details:

  • A 32-year-old female, from Chatham-Kent, was released on bail by the court. However, due to outstanding unendorsed warrants, she was later arrested by the Chatham-Kent Police Service and is currently being held for bail.

Warrants – Case# CK25007160

Date: February 3, 2025, Time: 1311 hrs., Location: Adelaide Street, Chatham

Details:

  • A 40-year-old female, Chatham resident who is the subject of an unendorsed warrant for failing to attend court was located by the Chatham-Kent Police. She is currently facing the following charges: failing to attend court, theft under $5000 and possession of stolen property. She was subsequently held for bail.

Domestic IPV – Case# CK25007192

Date: February 3, 2025, Time: 22:34 hrs., Location: Queen Street, Dresden

Details:

  • A 42-year-old male from Wallaceburg, was charged with assault and assault causing bodily harm after a physical altercation with his partner. He was arrested by the Chatham-Kent Police and was released with conditions and a future court date of March 17, 2025.

Warrants – Case# CK25007193

Date: February 3, 2025, Time: 22:51 hrs., Location: Walpole Island

Details:

  • A 47-year-old male was located and arrested by Walpole Police, who was the subject of an unendorsed arrest warrant for failing to attend court. He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he is currently being held for bail. He is facing the following charges: assault, failing to comply with an undertaking, failing to attend for fingerprints and failing to attend court. The Chatham-Kent Police Service would like to thank the Walpole Police Service for their assistance in this case.
