Chatham-Kent, Ontario: The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 269 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Six people were arrested and four were on outstanding warrants.
Assault with a weapon, uttering threats – Wallaceburg- CK24056692
On November 6th 2024 shortly after 8:00am, police attended a disturbance at an apartment complex. Police learned that a female was yelling from her apartment window at another female party who was outside in the parking lot. The female then threatened to assault the other female and proceeded to throw a coffee mug at her. The 20 year old female was arrested for uttering threats and assault with a weapon and was later released on an Undertaking with a future court date.
Unlawfully in a dwelling, assault police – Blenheim – CK24056810
Shortly after 6:00pm, police were dispatched to a residence for an unwanted party. Police located a 43 year old male inside and placed him under arrest for being unlawfully present in that residence. During the arrest the male assaulted the officer. The male was further charged with Assault police and was transported to police headquarters, where he was held for a bail hearing
