Chatham-Kent, Ontario: The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 199 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Fourteen people were arrested and thirteen were on outstanding warrants.

A 31-year-old Chatham woman was arrested on King Street in Chatham at 07:58 a.m. for failing to attend court for fingerprints. She was processed and released. She is currently facing the following charges: failing to comply with a probation order.
A 34-year-old Chatham man was arrested at 09:05 a.m., on Grand Avenue West in Chatham for failing to attend court. He as released with a new court date of October 21, 2024. He is currently facing the following charges: resist a peace officer, obstruct the police, possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of stolen property, two counts of theft and two counts of mischief.
A 44-year-old Chatham man was arrested at 10:05 a.m., on Forest Street for dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and flight from the police. He was released with a court date of October 21, 2024. He is currently facing the following charges: dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and flight from the police, failing to attend court, possession of stolen property, operating a motor vehicle will be prohibited, two counts of failing to comply with a probation order and several Provincial Offences.
A 19-year-old Harwich Township woman was arrested at the Ontario Court of Justice on Grand Avenue West in Chatham 11:17 a.m., for failing to attend court. She was held pending a bail hearing. She is currently facing the following charges: public mischief and failing to attend court.
A 48-year-old Chatham man was arrested at 12:42 p.m., on Grand Avenue West in Chatham for failing to attend court. He was held pending a bail hearing. He is currently facing the following charges: unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of firearm/ammunition contrary to a prohibition order, failing to comply with a probation order, and two counts of failing to attend court.
A 27-year-old Chatham man was returned to Chatham-Kent Police Service from the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia at 4:00 p.m., due to an outstanding unendorsed warrant. He was held pending a bail hearing. He is currently facing the following charges: assault with a weapon, mischief, two counts of failing to comply with an appearance notice, and two counts of failing to attend court.
A 29-year-old Chatham woman was arrested on Princess Street in Chatham at 4:26 p.m., on a surety relief warrant. The woman was held pending a bail hearing. She is currently facing the following charges: failing to attend court, possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, three counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm, four counts of carless storage of a firearm, five counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
A 24-year-old Chatham-Kent woman was arrested on Murray Street in Chatham at 4:30 p.m., for failing to attend court. She was released with a new court date. She is currently facing the following charges: failing to comply with a probation order.
A 39-year-old Walpole Island man was arrested on King Street in Wallaceburg at 9:11 p.m., for two warrants for failing to attend court. He was held pending a bail hearing.
