Man Arrested for Theft CK24046240/CK24046245
At 2:17 p.m., police responded to a grocery store on St. Clair Street, near Pioneer Line in Chatham for a theft investigation.
The man removed items from the store and left without paying. The man was located a short distance away and arrested.
Officers also confirmed the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for bail violations.
The 45-year-old Chatham-Kent man was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing. He is currently facing the following charges: mischief, unauthorized use of a credit card, fraud, two counts of failing to comply with a probation order, two counts of theft, two counts of failing to comply with a release order, two counts of possession of stolen property, and two counts of failing to attend court.
Man Arrested for Theft CK24046305
At 9:13 p.m., police responded to a pharmacy on St. Clair Street, near McNaughton Avenue in Chatham for a bail violation investigation.
Officers learned the man was arrested and released with conditions prohibiting him from being at that location on September 9, 2024. The man was observed inside the store, violating his release condition.
The 28-year-old Chatham-Kent man was located a short distance away and arrested. He was transported to police headquarters, where he was held pending a bail hearing. He is currently facing the following charges: uttering threats and failing to comply with an undertaking.
Man Arrested for Theft CK24046379
On September 19, 2024, at 2:13 a.m., police responded to a commercial property on Queen Street North in Tilbury for a break and enter.
Police arrived and located the man attempting to take fuel.
The 54-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was released with conditions and a future court date of October 21, 2024. He has been charged with break and enter.

On September 19, 2024, at 2:23 a.m., police located the man on St. Clair Street, near Cornhill Street in Chatham.
Officers confirmed the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for bail violations.
The 27-year-old Chatham man was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was held pending a bail hearing. He is currently facing the following charges: failing to comply with a release order, possession of a stolen credit card, theft, two counts of possession of stolen property, and eight counts of break and enter.
