Key Incidents:
Mischief- Case# CK25021769
Date: April 16, 2025, Time: 15:09 hrs., Location: Lacroix, Chatham
Details:On April 16, 2025, at approximately 15:09 hr., police responded to a report of a disturbance involving two males fighting in the front yard of a residence at Lacroix Chatham.
Officers arrived on scene and located a 37-year-old male from Stoney Point, approximately 50 feet from the residence, matching the description provided. The male was intoxicated and uncooperative. He was placed under arrest under the Liquor Licence and Control Act and transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters.
Further investigation revealed that the male had arrived uninvited at the residence and kicked the glass panel on the front door, causing it to shatter. The damage was estimated at approximately $500.
The accused was charged with mischief under $5,000. He was released with conditions and a future court date of May 12, 2025.

Date: April 16, 2025, Time: 10:43 hrs., Location: Third Street, Chatham
Details:
On April 16, 2025, at approximately 10:43 hrs, Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a trespassing complaint at a local business within Chatham.
Officers confirmed that the accused, a 33-year-old male from Chatham-Kent had conditions not to attend the location, stemming from a prior release order issued in March 2025. Although the individual did not enter the business, they were observed on the sidewalk directly in front of the property, which constitutes a violation of their court-imposed conditions.
He was arrested by the Chatham-Kent Police Service. He was later released with a scheduled court date of April 23, 2025.
