The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 156 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Four people were arrested.
Male Arrested on Outstanding Warrant – CK21051564
Yesterday morning police located a male in the area of Murray Street in Chatham who was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for Theft Under $5000. The 37-year old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant and later released with a future court date of November 26, 2021.
Liquor Licence Act – CK21051650
Last night police responded to a residence on Dundas Street in Wallaceburg for a family dispute. Upon further investigation a female involved in the dispute was located outside the residence and found to be intoxicated and unable to care for herself. The 21-year old female was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and was held until sober.
Male Arrested on Outstanding Warrant – CK21051662
Early this morning the Walpole Police located a male known to be wanted on a Chatham-Kent Police warrant for Theft Under $5000, 2 counts of Possession Under $5000 and 2 counts of Possession of a Prohibited Weapon. The 32-year old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant and turned over to the Chatham-Kent Police Service. The male was later released with a future court date.
Break and Enter – CK21051679
Early this morning police responded to a break and enter at a residence on McCreary Line in Wallaceburg. Sometime between 23:00-04:00hrs this morning an unknown person entered a shed on the property and took a 2005 Green Can Am Bombardier 650 ATV. The investigation is ongoing and there are currently no suspects.
