Man Charged with Uttering Threats and Assault CK16014477
On May 23, 2016, a 26 year old Chatham man got into an argument with a 58 year old woman regarding his dirt bike that was stolen. During the argument, the man threatened her life. The argument continued to a point when the 26 year old man hit the woman. The Chatham man was located and charged with Uttering Threats as well as Assault, and later released with a court date of June 21, 2016, to answer to the charges.
Female Arrested from CKPS Wanted List CK16014490
On May 22, 2016 at approximately 8:30pm, police were dispatched to the area of Murray Street, in Wallaceburg, in response to a female party hitchhiking towards Chatham. The female party was described to be Andrea Campell, 28 years old of Chatham, known to Police for having several fail-to-attend warrants. Ms. Campbell was located, arrested, and provided transportation to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters, where she was held for a bail hearing.
Break and Enter CK16014508
On May 22, 2016 at sometime between 9:00 and 10:00 p.m. unknown suspect(s) kicked in the front door to a Queen Street Residence, in Chatham. Stolen were a Playstation 3 as well as a TV.

Marine Unit.
The Chatham-Kent Police Marine unit, with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police were on the water this weekend in a joint forces operation. 35 vehicles were stopped and a total of 10 warnings were issued for infractions like speeding, no vessel registration on board, no proof of competency (carrying license) as well as failing to have all the required equipment. No alcohol violations were observed.
