The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 165 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Nine people were arrested.
Warrants – CK21002209
Yesterday morning an officer on general patrol in Wallaceburg located a male in the area of Dufferin Avenue who was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for Break and Enter and Possession Under $5000. The 36-year-old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and was later released with a future court date.

Yesterday afternoon an officer on general patrol in Blenheim located a male in the area of New Scotland Line who was known to be wanted on a warrant for failing to comply with his Court Order. The 37-year-old male was arrested on the strength of the warrant, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and later released with a future court date.
Break and Enter – CK21002264
Yesterday afternoon police responded to a break and enter at an unoccupied residence on Charing Cross Road in Cedar Springs. Taken from inside the residence was various construction material, dry-wall and paint. The investigation is ongoing and there are currently no suspects.
