Man Charged with Breaching Condition CK20039134
Early this morning around 1:00am, police were on general patrol in the area of Park Lane in Chatham. As a result of a traffic stop the driver was found in violation of his recognizance curfew. On March 1st, 2020 he had been released from Court to obey a daily curfew of 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
The 30 year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged pending a future court date.
Man Arrested for Disturbance CK20039085
Last night, while conducting patrol on King Street, auxiliary members observed a male causing a disturbance near the mall. Patrol officers attended the area and spoke with the man.
As a result of his continued disturbing behavior, a 47-year-old Chatham man was arrested for Breaching the Peace.
Woman Charged with Domestic Related Offence CK20039108
Last night, Police were called as a result of a domestic altercation taking place on Lorne Avenue. Through investigation, police learned that the woman assaulted her boyfriend by striking him in the face.
The 28 year-old Chatham woman was arrested and charged with assault. She was released pending a future court date.
Man Charged with Impaired Driving CK20039148
Around 4:00 a.m. this morning, Police responded to the report of a possible impaired driver in the area of Bear Line in Chatham. Officers attended the area and located the vehicle along with a helpful citizen.
Through investigation, police found the man to be driving while under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested.
The 25 year-old was released pending a future court date of August 14th, 2020.
