The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 114 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Five people were arrested.
Male Arrested for Mischief. CK17043926
On September 19th, 2017, a 28yr Chatham male attended the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance property and caused $300 damage to 3 lights that illuminated the sidewalk on the south side of the building. The male party fled prior to Police arrival and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Last night the Chatham-Kent Police located the male on Wellington Street in Chatham and affected the arrest. The 28yr Chatham male was transported to Head Quarters were he was held for a bail hearing.
Chatham Male Arrested for Break and Enter. CK17043930
Early this morning at approximately 2:00am, a 56yr Chatham male attended his ex-girlfriends address in Chatham. The male broke into the ex-girlfriend’s apartment and attempted to take her dog. Police quickly arrived and located the male inside the apartment. The male was arrested for Break and Enter and transported to Head Quarters to await a bail hearing.
Blenheim Male Arrested for Breach. CK17043828
On October 29th, 2017, a 33yr Blenheim male was arrested for Domestic related charges and later released on a Promise to Appear with a future court date. Two of the conditions were to notify the Chatham-Kent Police 3 days in advance of any address change and to abstain from attending an address in Ridgetown.
Yesterday morning Police attended the 33yr listed address in Blenheim. Police found that the male party no longer resides at this address and hasn’t for some time.
Police later located the male in Ridgetown at an address he was restricted to attend. The male was arrested for 2 counts of Breaching his court conditions and transported to headquarters were he was held for a bail hearing.
