Update – Dog Attack in Wallaceburg CK18005889
As previously reported, on Monday night around 5:00 p.m. two young children along with their babysitter were tobogganing at Jaycee Park on Larkwood Street when two dogs escaped from their home and attacked the youngest child.
The 3-year-old boy remains in a Michigan hospital where his condition is improving.

Motor Vehicle Collision CK18006022
Yesterday afternoon, around 4:30 p.m. police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Prince Albert Road just north of Union Line. The driver, a 67-year-old woman, lost control of her vehicle, left the roadway and slid into a water filled ditch.
Constable Scott Renders, the first officer on scene, observed the vehicle filling up with water and the woman unable to escape. The officer, without hesitation, jumped into the cold water and smashed out a window to free the woman from her vehicle.
The woman was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance as a precaution. The officer was not injured.
