Break and Enter in Thamesville CK18026452
Sometime between Friday at midnight and Saturday at 6:00 a.m. unknown suspect(s) forced their way into a business on Victoria St.in Thamesville causing $500 damage. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole $1,500.00 worth of cash in all denominations.

Shoplifting Complaint at Walmart in Chatham CK18026503
Yesterday afternoon, police responded to a shoplifting complaint at Walmart. The Loss Prevention Officer observed the man conceal a variety of tools valued at $200.00 and exit the store without making any attempt to pay for these items. Bradley Kennedy, 37 years was arrested and charged with theft under $5000 and being in possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000. He was later released pending a future court date of July 6th, 2018.
Man arrested on outstanding warrant CK18026550
Yesterday evening at approximately 7:00 PM, officers observed a man and woman known to them to be present at an address on St. Clair St. in Chatham. Investigation revealed that the male party had an outstanding warrant and he was placed under arrest. At the time of arrest, the man was also found to be in possession of suspected illegal narcotics.
A 28 year old Chatham man has been charged with Breach of Recognizance and one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was held in custody awaiting a bail hearing in the AM.
Men Charged with Failing to Comply CK18026553
On June 9th, 2018 both men were released from custody with conditions to refrain from any communication with one another.
Within hours of the men’s release they were located at a Business on Grand Ave. W. in each other’s company.
At 7:30 p.m. both 22-year-old Chatham men were arrested and charged with failing to comply. Both were transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters where they were held for a bail hearing in the AM.
Stolen Vehicle CK18026631
Sometime Saturday during the early morning hours unknown suspect(s) stole a black 2005 PT Cruiser convertible from a property on Lamilla St. in Thamesville. The vehicle was last seen bearing Ontario marker CCAF 467. Value of the theft has been estimated at $5000.
