Police Week in Chatham-Kent
Chatham-Kent Police Service and the Erie St. Clair Local Health Integration Network
The Erie St. Clair Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) Behavioural Supports Ontario (BSO) provides enhanced, integrated, services that meet the needs of older adults with responsive behaviours associated with dementia, mental health, addictions and other conditions in the community or in long-term care homes.
Many times police become involved when the safety and well-being of these individuals become a concern. “BSO has been able to assist Chatham Kent Police when a vulnerable person in our community has been identified. BSO and Chatham Kent Police have been able to collaborate to ensure the individual is connected with the appropriate community resources and the risk is mitigated” ~ Jennifer Tremblay RN, Care Coordinator
Please review our Vulnerable Person Register. The Vulnerable Persons Registry allows caregivers of vulnerable persons to submit vital information to a database that will be used by police and other emergency services during a crisis situation. http://ckpolice.com/vulnerable-persons-registry/
