Stolen Vehicle in Howard Township CK18043056
Sometime between Sept. 12th at 10:00 p.m. and Sept. 13th at 8:20 a.m. unknown suspect(s) stole a blue 2005 Toyota Tundra from a residence on Talbot Trail. The pickup truck was last seen bearing Ontario license plates 5709JR.

Domestic Harassment CK18043075
Yesterday afternoon, police investigated a harassment complaint in regards to domestic related offence. As a result of the investigation a 48-year-old Chatham woman was charged with criminal harassment. She was arrested and later released pending a future court date of October 5th, 2018.
Man Charged with being Intoxicated in a Public Place CK18043174
Last night, the intoxicated man was arrested on Sheldon Ave. in Chatham. The 20-year-old Chatham man was unable to care for himself and transported to police headquarters for his own safety.
He has been charged with being intoxicated in a public place. He will be released when sober.
Second Man Charged with being Intoxicated in a Public Place CK18043203
Last night, the intoxicated man was arrested at McDonalds in Chatham. The 55-year-old Chatham man was unable to care for himself and transported to police headquarters for his own safety.
He has also been charged with being intoxicated in a public place. He will be released when sober.
Youth Charged with Breach of Probation and Drug Possession CK18043237
Last night in the early morning hours, police initiated a vehicle stop as the youth was observed operating his bicycle on Thames St. in Chatham. The police were able to determine that the youth was currently bound by a Probation Order with a curfew. The youth was arrested for breaching a condition of his Probation Order. Upon being searched incident to arrest, the youth was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.
The 17-year-old Chatham youth has been charged with Breach of Probation and drug possession. He was later released pending a future court date of October 4th, 2018.

Chatham-Kent Police responded to 31 hang up/accidental 911 calls in the last 24 hour period. The Chatham-Kent Police Service would like to remind everyone that if you accidentally dial 911, please stay on the line.
Should you hang up the call taker will assume it is an emergency and dispatch police. 911 Hang-up calls consume considerable resources, therefore police are asking all cell phone users to “lock it before your pocket.”
