The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 169 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Ten people were arrested.
Woman Arrested on Outstanding Warrants CK18021946
On December 12th, 2017 the woman was released from Court with several conditions. One of those conditions was that she not communicate with a specific male party. On April 29, 2018 police observed the woman communicating with this male party. A warrant was issued for her arrest.
Yesterday morning the female party attended the police station and turned herself in on the outstanding warrant.
The 32-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Police Investigate Collision CK18021964
Yesterday morning, police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Middle Line near Valetta.
The driver, a 73-year-old Tilbury man, remains in a London hospital in critical but stable condition. He was the lone occupant in the vehicle at the time of the collision.

Break and Enter in Chatham CK18021952
Sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a detached shed located on St. Andrews Place in Chatham. Once inside the suspect(s) stole a power washer valued at $2,000.00.

Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrant CK1803599
On February 16, 2018 the man was arrested in connection with a Mischief complaint, and for Driving While Suspended. He was charged with Mischief under $5000 and Operate Motor Vehicle while under Suspension. He was released with conditions pending a future court and print date.
On March 5th, 2018 the man failed to attend for fingerprints. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
Yesterday afternoon, the man was arrested by police in Ridgetown.
Jason Currie, 33 years, of Ridgetown was released pending a future court date of June 6th, 2018.
Man Charged with Breaching his Curfew CK18022082
On December 2nd, 2017 the man was released from Court with several conditions. One of those conditions stated that he was to abide by a daily curfew of 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Just after midnight this morning, police were notified by a concerned citizen that the man was making threats to a person and believed to be in the area of the Via Rail station. Police attended the area of Queen St in Chatham and located the male outside his residence and under the influence of drugs. He was arrested.
The 31-year-old Chatham man has been charged with failing to comply. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Break and Enter in Chatham CK18022083
Sometime in the past 2 weeks, unknown suspect(s) gained entry into an apartment on Park Ave. E in Chatham. Once in the apartment the suspects removed a T.V. valued at $1,000.00.
