The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 93 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Three people were arrested.
Female Arrested On Outstanding Warrant – CK17009194
Yesterday afternoon while on general patrol in Wallaceburg the Chatham-Kent Police located a 31yr Wallaceburg female currently wanted by Police. The female was arrested and transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Head Quarters location. The female was later released with a future court date to answer to the charges of Breach of Probation and Failing to Attend Court.
Man Arrested On Outstanding Warrant – CK17009222
Yesterday evening while on general patrol a 20yr Wallaceburg male was located and arrested by way of Warrant. The male was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Head Quarters location where he is awaiting a bail hearing for the charges of Breach of Recognizance and Failing to attend Court.
Male Arrested For Driving With Over 80mg Of Alcohol In His Blood – CK17009246
Last night Police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Dover Street and Third Street, in the City of Chatham. Through investigation Police believed the 25yr male driver to be under the influence of alcohol and a roadside breath test was conducted. The driver subsequently failed the roadside and was arrested for driving with over 80mg of Alcohol in 100ml of Blood. The male party was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for further breath tests. The tests revealed that the male had more than twice the legal limit of alcohol in his blood. The male party was later released with a future court date.
