On July 9, 2019 at approximately 4:00 pm, police were called to a South End Crescent address in Chatham. The windshield of the complainant’s 2012 Blue Hyundai Veloster had been damaged. It appeared the damage was caused by two blunt force impacts. Damage is estimated at approximately $500.

On July 9, 2019 at 5:00 pm, an anonymous caller contacted police with the location of a male party wanted by this service for drug related charges. Officers attended the area and after a brief foot chase, the 41-year-old Chatham man was arrested and held for bail.
On July 9, 2019 at approximately 9:50 pm, police received a complaint of a disturbance in the area of Baldoon Rd, Chatham. Police attended and arrested a 39-year-old man for Intoxicated in a Public Place Sec 31(4) of the Liquor License Act. The male party was held until sober.
On July 10, 2019 at approximately 4:13 am, unknown person(s) threw a rock at the front door of The Ontario Electronic Vape store located at 218 Queen St Chatham. The door received a large crack in the glass and damages are estimated at approximately $200.

On July 9, 2019 at approximately 12:48 pm the communication center received a call from a male party stating his wife was in labour and the baby was not waiting! At 12:51 pm PC Oriet was on scene and assisted with the delivery of this feisty little baby girl. Mom and baby were transported to hospital for further medical assistance. We are happy to say all are doing well!
